Plemons Stinnett Phillips Independent School District
Board of Trustees Calls Feb 12th, Bond Election
PSPCISD District Board of Trustees has unanimously called for a bond election to be held on ((Saturday, May 2, 2026)), for voter consideration. The proposal is based on recommendations from the community-led Capital Needs Steering Committee (CNSC) following several months of review of district facilities, programs, and enrollment trends. The Board approved the election order during its ((February 12)) meeting.
Propostition A
Proposed projects may include:
Roof replacements and major facility repairs
Restroom renovations
Cafeteria and library updates and improvements
Furniture replacement
Interior and exterior safety lighting
Interior and exterior security cameras
Instructional materials (books and supplies that qualify)
Auditorium and ball hall updates and repairs
Buses and other school vehicles
Playground shade structures
Ag classroom renovations
Purchase of property for future needs (school buildings)
Equipment for student activities, including band, one-act play, and athletics
Propostition B
Proposed projects may include:
Student technology upgrades
Teacher technology upgrades
District wide instructional technology improvements
Voting Information
To participate in the May 2, 2026, bond election, individuals must reside within PSPCISD boundaries and be registered to vote in Hutchinson County. Voter registration status may be confirmed at www.votetexas.gov.
Registered voters may cast ballots at any polling location in City of Stinnett Community Center. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Saturday, May 2, 2026.
Early voting by personal appearance will take place from Monday, April 20, 2026 / Wednesday, April 22-Friday, April 24. And Monday, April 27- Tuesday, April 28. 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

PSPCISD will provide factual, up-to-date information about Bond 2026 on this webpage. The webpage will include project descriptions, cost information, a schedule of informational meetings, historical and current tax data, and a method for submitting questions.
Informational meetings are being held in ((March and April)) to share details about the bond propositions and respond to community questions. Four community meetings open to everyone are scheduled for ((March 30, April 16, and 28)). They will start at 6 p.m., and will be in the WTHS Commons.
